Starting June 1, 2017 Emirates launched flights to its latest European destination with the introduction of daily flights from Dubai to Zagreb (ZAG), the capital of Croatia. The new southeast European destination will be served by a three-class configured Emirates Boeing 777-300 aircraft, the only wide-body service operating to/from Zagreb.
Among the VIP delegation at Dubai Airport checking in for the inaugural flight to Croatia are: Stephan Schupbach, CEO Dogus Tourism Group; Madhavan Menon, MD Thomas Cook; Thierry Aucoc, Emirates’ SVP Commercial Operations Europe and Russian Federation; Khadija Mohammed Ali Turki, Senior Manager Stakeholder Relations, International Operations, DTCM; Gari Cappelli, Minister of Tourism of Croatia; Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ EVP and CCO; H.E. Ali Al Ahmed, UAE Ambassador to Croatia; Ibrahim Ahli, Director, Dubai-FDI; Andrea Novak, Procurement Manager, Merck Serono and Wang Haojie, Deputy General Manager, New Element (Beijing) International Travel Co. Emirates will fly daily between Dubai and Zagreb on its 777-300s.
Croatia is a popular destination for business and private travel from all of the world’s locations, especially for tourists with distinct destinations such as South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia. New arrivals will further facilitate travel to tourists from these countries.
Flights will take place from Dubai every day from 8:15 pm local time, and in Zagreb will arrive at 12:20 am local time.
From Zagreb to Dubai at 15:35 and will arrive in Dubai at 23:05 local time.
